Non-Surgical Eyelid Aesthetics

The basic principle of the application is the sublimation (vaporization) of lesions such as unwanted tissue, scars and blemishes on the skin using plasma energy.

One of the most common uses of plasma energy is the non-surgical correction of elongated upper eyelids. This procedure can be used to improve the skin of the lower eyelids, just as it can on the upper lids.

The procedure doesn’t cause enough pain to require anesthesia. However, if necessary, the area may be anesthetized with anesthetic creams or local anesthetics. Small, brown or black scabs and mild swelling will form in the treated area after the procedure.

Edema will disappear within a few hours to a few days, and crusting will disappear within 7-20 days.

Treatment times vary from patient to patient and may require multiple sessions. If necessary, the same area can be treated again after three weeks. Temporary discoloration, raised or hollow areas may occur in the treated area.

Plasma energy can also be used to eliminate benign masses on the skin and mucosa, in the treatment of acne scars, active acne and blemishes.
