Dr. Ayşegül Girgin

Dr. Ayşegül Girgin graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1992 and began working in medical aesthetics in 1997. After completing her Master’s degree in Aesthetic Medicine at the University of Camerino in Italy in 2018, she completed her doctorate in Anatomy at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 2023.
In 2016, she served as one of the master instructors at the Aesthetic Facial Anatomy Cadaver Workshops, held for the first time in Turkey and organized in collaboration with Trakya University Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Ayşegül Girgin, one of the founders and instructors of Metsacademy, also serves as an instructor in Fullface Aesthetic Cadaver Workshops at Trakya University and Hacettepe University. An international instructor for APTOS and IBSA Derma, Dr. Ayşegül Girgin also provides training on aesthetic facial anatomy internationally. She currently practices medical aesthetics at her own clinic in Istanbul.
He is also one of the authors of the book “Aesthetic Botulinum Toxin Applications”, one of the translation editors of the book “Dermal Fillers in Aesthetic Medicine” and Dr. Jack Le Coz’s book “The Place of Mesotherapy in Pain and Aesthetics”.

Believing in the necessity of lifelong learning, Dr. Ayşegül Girgin has since participated in trainings at the French Mesotherapy Association (France), the International Society for Aesthetics and Mesotherapy (ISAM), Aesthetic Mesotherapy Trainings (France), the European Mesotherapy Association, the Association Medecine et Mesotherapie Esthetique (AMME), the AGORA Società Scientifica Italiana di Medicina, and the Indirizzo Estetico School of Medical Aesthetics (Italy). She holds certificates from the Turkish Ministry of Health in Medical Aesthetics, Mesotherapy, and Ozone Therapy. In 2018, she completed her Master of Aesthetic Medicine at the “Università degli Studi di Camerino” in Italy. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in anatomy at the Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in the USA.
Lifelong Learning
Dr. Girgin not only continues to educate herself but also loves sharing her experience and knowledge with her colleagues. She currently serves as a founding member and secretary general of the Medical Aesthetic Medicine Association (MESTDER) and the Aesthetic Medicine Association. She is a member of the French Mesotherapy Association and the Turkish Antiaging Association. She has served as a secretary and organizing committee member for various scientific meetings, including the MESTDER Face and Body Engineering Workshop, the MESTDER National Congress, the MESTDER Threadlift Workshop, and the 21st World Congress of Aesthetic Medicine (WCAM) 2017.
