Over time, the subcutaneous tissue on the back of the hand diminishes, the skin thins, veins become more visible, and skin blemishes begin to appear. The goal of hand rejuvenation is to replace the diminished subcutaneous tissue on the back of the hand, improve the quality of thin and damaged skin, and eliminate blemishes. Collagen-stimulating treatments, fillers, PRP, vitamin injections, and laser treatments are the most common procedures. Mild swelling and bruising may occur after the procedure, but the patient’s daily activities are not affected.
