Peeling

The literal meaning of “peel” is “to peel.” Chemical peels involve the use of various chemicals to remove the upper layers of the skin at various depths, aiming to improve and correct the skin. Ingredients such as glycolic acid, mandelic acid, salicylic acid, other fruit acids, and TCAs are used in peel treatments.

Peeling treatments are used to rejuvenate and cleanse skin, addressing skin discoloration and texture irregularities. During treatment, the acid removes damaged, damaged, and damaged skin from the surface at varying depths, depending on the concentration and duration of the acid. There is no pain during the treatment, other than a slight burning, stinging, and itching. No anesthesia is required. Treatments typically consist of 3-12 sessions, depending on the skin condition. Session intervals range from 2-8 weeks. After the treatment, a follow-up treatment is recommended at 3-6-month intervals to maintain the skin’s condition.

After the peel, sun exposure should be avoided and sunscreen should be used. Chemical peels can be used in combination with special treatments, PRP, laser treatments, mesolifting, or radiofrequency, depending on the skin’s needs.
